Perpetual Equity Investment Company Limited (PIC) has set a new post global financial crisis (GFC) record for a listed investment company capital raising, with firm commitments and cash received exceeding more than $220 million.
The news quickly followed the announcement made on Friday 21 November that PIC had reached its minimum target raising of $150 million.
Throughout the offer period, PIC has continued to resonate with SMSF investors and advisers, who are viewing it as an ideal means of achieving a regular and growing income stream and long-term capital growth.
The offer remains open until 5pm, Friday 28 November 2014, with subscriptions accepted until this date.
